2. Data we collect

Belief Shift stores your data locally on your device by default. We do not have access to your beliefs, notes, or personal reflections unless you create an account and enable cloud sync.

• Account data (email, name) — only if you create an account
• Anonymous analytics events (page views, funnel steps) — no personal content
• Payment data — processed securely by Stripe; we never store card details

3. How we use your data

• To provide and improve the Belief Shift service
• To process payments via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (magic link login)
• To understand usage patterns through anonymous analytics

4. AI processing

When you use AI-guided features, your belief text is sent to the Anthropic Claude API for processing. This data is not stored by Anthropic for training purposes. We only send the minimum information needed to generate helpful suggestions.

5. Third-party services

• Supabase — authentication and optional cloud sync
• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic — AI suggestions
• Vercel — hosting

6. Your rights

You can delete all your data at any time from Profile > Delete all my data. If you have an account, you can request complete account deletion by contacting us at contact@beliefshift.app.

7. Cookies

Belief Shift uses localStorage (not cookies) to store your session data locally. We do not use tracking cookies.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
